This week, you will complete and submit the Doctoral Committee Assignment Form. This form provides your program leadership with an understanding of your study, based on your topic and methodology, so that they can select a committee chair and second member who can guide you. Please be sure to review the "Topic Alignment by Specialization" sheet in the Required Resources for this week. Your topic must be aligned to the specialization to which you are assigned. Important Points to Remember To receive a committee, you must complete this assignment and submit using the Doctoral Committee Matching link by the end of week 3. Your prospective chair and second committee member will read your Doctoral Committee Assignment Form before they accept you as a student. Therefore, it is critical that you write in a scholarly voice with correct grammar, spelling, and APA style. Carefully read the instructions in the assignment. The problem, purpose, and research questions should be written as instructed and be in strong alignment. If there are errors in this, your instructor may ask you to revise the document. You may use your final paper from EDDD 8003 – “Tools for Doctoral Research Success” as a guide for this important assignment.
