Critical thinking
The concept of critical thinking basically means that one is capable of thinking rationally and clearly. Critical thinking does not mean accumulation of information. An individual with superior memory and who has a lot of information is not essentially a critical thinker. Critical thinking involves ability to construe consequences from what someone knows, and they know how to utilize information on problem solving, and to seek appropriate sources of information for purposes of informing these critical thinkers. Critical thinking also includes the capacity to engage in independent and reflective thinking (Adler, 2014).
