Research Methodology
The study used a survey method involving an exploratory and quantitative research approach. Data were obtained from residents of the Bagerhat Sadar Upazila ten unions. The researchers collected information from children and parents. They sampled 125 families from a population of 4500 families. Moreover, they adopted a systematic random sampling technique targeting a 95% confidence interval. Each union contributed proportionately based on a sample calculation approach. The study used a semi-structured questionnaire approach for data collection; the questionnaire had open and close-ended questionnaires.
