Introduction
For everyone that is working, there are always that one job that they would want to hold, a dream job. Where they can work the number of hours they want, go on vacation when they wanted, get paid as much as they felt was fiscally possible and even work from where they wanted (Kim, 2018). This is not different from being asked to propose the dream job, as one can come up with the job that they have always though would be most immaculate and most importantly one that they feel their skills would be best applied with the minimum efforts and maximum results and pay. In this paper discusses the dream job of being a quality user experience researcher. It also includes the various elements of the compensation plan along with the benefits. The piece further establishes the rationale for the compensation packages as well as the benefits that have been included. The paper than address the design for performance appraisal along with the rationale for the same.
Description
If every other employee were given a choice they would come up with one of the most fitting job they would think off in the organization, within their line of work or even outside their profession and something that they have always admired (Goudreau, 2012). According to Forbes, more than 85% of North American employees wish that they employers would device a way that they could work from wherever they choose. Forbes further points out that another 75% of the workforce also pointed out that they would be willing to quit their current jobs and organizations if they were presented with an offer by another organization to work remotely for the same salary as their current (Leasca, 2017).
‘Of all the job perks available to employees today there is one we apparently all desire over any other: working remotely. According to a study by Softchoice, a whopping 85% of North American office workers expect their employers to provide technology that allows them to work from wherever they choose. Another 74% of employees said they would quit their jobs to work for an organization that would allow them to work remotely more often, even if their salary stayed the same. But working remotely doesn’t mean workers need to sacrifice on salary. In fact, according to HYPERLINK "/" \t "_blank" FlexJobs, there are a plethora of options for people looking to both make serious cash and work anywhere they want. But, according to Brie Reynolds, Senior Career Specialist at FlexJobs, there are a few things to consider before diving into working outside the office.’ (Leasca, 2017)
The ability to work from anywhere in the world gives one the opportunity to travel the world while at the same time making sure that they are able to keep a keen eye on their clients. One does not have to show up at the office unless there is ultimate need to do that. This way employees are presented with the freedom to work at the hours that they choose and from where they are (Kim, 2018). This is the ultimate freedom that more than offers the right kind of motivation to keep working even harder when they can. For most people, the fact that they have to show up at the office every morning is a hectic element given the fact that they have to make sure they wake up early, prepare themselves and sometimes the children where they are involved and beat the traffic to work. After that they have stay at the office up to the time the office closes or when they are done with their work (Kim, 2018). This is bit restricting, as it requires that one is around the office for them to complete their work. With a flexible work from anywhere in the world, employees are restricted by the space. They can choose to work in a restaurant, the bar, in the car, on the bus or even at the park. It is this level of freedom that is so inspiring for most people and forms the foundation of the rationale for working from anywhere as a Qualitative User Experience Researcher Jobs ("User Experience Researcher job - Vanguard - Malvern, PA", 2018).
The company has not had a user experience researchers and this would be a good chance to introduce the position. As part of making sure that the company is targeting the right market and the tight customers with the right products, a researcher on the user experience will make a significant addition. This is a position that is going to bring about more information to the production and marketing teams. With information on the current trends in the market, detailing what the customers want from the existing products and what they would want to see and experience in the future (Caramela, 2017). As such this is a crucial position that is likely to have subtle impacts on the company relative to the customer base it commands and the competitive advantage, within the industry ("User Experience Researcher job - Vanguard - Malvern, PA", 2018).
