How Circular Recycling Systems Contribute to Lowering Greenhouse Gas Emissions Student Name Institution Affiliation Course Name Professor Name Due Date Abstract Waste level and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions are on the rise because of exponential industrialization, urbanization and consumerism. In the light of a take-make-dispose model, the contemporary linear waste management systems contribute a considerable effect upon a global climate change as they enhance the raw materials demand and consumption of fossil fuels yet generate large amounts of landfill waste and produce methane. On the contrary, circular recycling systems are a paradigm shift since they incorporate closed-loop recirculation processes that maximise resource utilisation and minimise waste besides decomposing the carbon footprint in industries and households. This paper considers the ways that a circular recycling system could be more effective in the area of GHG reduction compared with linear models. How Circular Recycling Systems Contribute to Lowering Greenhouse Gas Emissions Introduction The waste crisis cannot be separated of a constantly growing production of greenhouse gas which leds to unstable climatic conditions. Most notably, its existing linear economics when resources are mined, assembled, utilized and discarded, support the further degradation of the environment using all the steps of resource extraction (Botle et al., 2024). By avoiding landfill sites, global warming is decreased by about 30 years of carbon dioxide equivalent emission, because search in land fill sites generates methane. This greenhouse gas is a trap that is more effective in trapping heat as compared to carbon dioxide more than 25 times. The example is that extraction of virgin material in linear systems can be characterized as highly energy-intensive because this process consumes fossil as the source of energy, thereby increasing the input of GHG emissions (Botle et al. 2024). These are the consequences of the unsustainably rapid mounting of the linear waste management application that have driven academics and policy-makers to seek a plausible course of action to apply circular recycles applications as a feasible solution to climate change regulation. Circular recycling also relates to a waste paradigm because it has a framework grounded in the expansion of the product and material life-cycle. Therefore, the financial resources circulate indefinitely to the long life of the systems over the longest period, without neglecting production and dismantling. Minimizing Virgin Resource Dependence Circular recycling models push down greenhouse gas emissions as less raw material has to be manufactured - regarded as...
