Reflection on and Reaction to Jung Typology Test
The main objective of the Jung Typology Test is to promote self-awareness in human beings. In collaboration with colleagues, Jung developed a system to aid human beings in understanding and development. Harmony gets achieved when human beings achieve specific lifestyles. Besides, the test may influence choice on educational institutions and careers to attend. This test could lead to self-discovery. Human beings perceive things that determine their personalities.
The test done resulted in Introvert (72%), iNtuitive (6%), Feelings (31%), and Perception (9%) (INFP). INFPs do not quickly lose their sense of wonder (Butt, n.d.). According to Butt, (n.d), there is a perception of life which is viewed through rose-colored glasses. Besides, the view is that they perceive life from a lens where objects can come to life. Notably, it is the critical realization of a life that is found in fauna and flora. Therefore, reflecting on my lifestyle, it is amusing to compare the results with real life. INFPs spend most of their time to themselves fantasizing even on weirdest thoughts. Sometimes, they lack the self-realization on their fantasies. The fantasies are buried deep down their thoughts.
On the other hand, it is not easy for INFPs. They get faced with frustrations and disappointments. Besides, the introvert part suppresses INFPs to a struggle with personal ethic perfection. Despite the positive and negative traits pulling to opposite directions, the decisive feature wins. INFPs tend to relate well with people close to them.
