The Content Marketing Strategy Process. Business & Marketing
An underlying theme this semester is that marketing professionals need strategies and plans to guide their efforts. Figure 8.5 in the book (titled "The Content Marketing Strategy Process"; found a few pages into Chapter 8) describes the content marketing strategy process.
1.Identify each step in the Content Marketing Strategy Process. See Figure 8.5 in the book for the four steps. Figure 8.5 is also found on slide #17 in the Chapter 8 PowerPointPreview the document.
2.Carefully explain each step and why is each important. The textbook will be very helpful in this regard.
3.Explain how a brand or company might execute each step in the process. Be specific and provide a decent amount of detail! Don't just show a screen-shot of an example of something you have seen. I want to see your thought process on how a brand or company might specifically execute each step in the content marketing strategy process.

Your Word document should include 4 sections. Each step should clearly start each section as a heading. Each section should have two paragraphs. One paragraph should answer question #2 and one paragraph should answer question #3.

Content marketing is a strategic marketing technique that is often focused on the creation and distribution of valuable, relevant, and consistent content that effectively attracts and retains a clearly defined audience and promotes profitable customer action. Companies and firms using content marketing are keen on providing useful content to the target customers to enable them to solve their exiting issues. Ideally, this strategy is applicable in multinationals, medium, and small businesses around the globe. This literature examines how the four significant steps of content marketing strategy may be executed by a company.
Create content
This is the first step, and it involved the development of content which is focused to a predetermined group of audience. Additionally, this phase of content creation is crucial since one is required to offer informative information that may not be seen as an advertisement. Ideally, the main benefits of content creation are that it helps the business to offer reliable information to its target population, thus influencing the buying behaviors of the audience. Besides, content creation is also ideal in improving engagement with the audience; this is possible through delivering content that is engaging in a particular group of people.
For example, a car manufacturing company may execute content creation by developing ensuring that the customers are provided with accruable and reliable information about the specific model of a given car brand. Besides, it is often essential to ensure that the company's values and personality guide the content provided. One primary information that should be made available in this case is how the customers can benefit from buying a particular car brand.
