FIN 3220 The final exam score will be comprised of two scores – one is a final report document (details below) and the second is the presentation of the material in a voice over PPT. The grading rubric is provided below for your information and referral.Report information: Each student will be assigned a personal finance topic to thoroughly research and write a high-quality, professional-looking, summative report, complete with a minimum of three useful, recommended resources. Assume your reading audience is a novice as it relates to your topic. Be creative. This does NOT have to be just another written paper. Be creative and make it a document someone wants to read and has information that is relevant and pertinent to your topic. Use Times New Roman 12-size font, double-spaced. Provide a centered Title of the Topic (use 18 Font for this). I do not have a page expectation or requirement. Write what is necessary to cover your topic and provide the reader quality information.One suggested approach would be to begin by defining/describing the topic. Then provide the considerations that enter into a decision process, tips, techniques, advice, and/or other aspects that will add value and understanding to the reader. Conclude with a summary of highlights and at the end of your written narrative. At the end of your summary of highlights section, provide your three useful, recommended resources.
Presentation Information:Become the expert on your subject. Know your material well. Take 4-5 minutes to give us the “best practices” information. Strive to make the presentation conversational but professional. You will utilize a slide deck/PPT for this presentation. You will also record a voice over PPT in lieu of not being able to present in class on the day of the final. We will not use power points or slide decks for this presentation, as time is critical.
