Her mentoring partner advised her to be more feminine in her dress, wear makeup, grow her hair long and wear more jewelry. Sex discrimination is the act of treating people adversely and with hostility because of their sex (Robinson, 2003). Discrimination includes "sexual harassment", requests for sexual favors, and other spoken or physical pestering of a sexual nature. Sexual discrimination is not always sexual in nature, it also include making offensive remarks about a person's sex (Lindgren, 2011).
