Leadership, be it in an organization or just within a small setup, usually plays a very important role when it comes to the manner in which people work. It usually affects the productivity of the staff, and hence the overall output of the organization. I worked with a leader, who made me feel more important than he was. He always ensured that my working environment was safe and serene for me, and always kept in touch on anything that affected my stay there. At certain times also, he could hold some brief talks with me, to essentially check out on my personal progress and development. I felt the leader placed my interest before his, and hence I felt more important than him.
