China has a larger male population than the female population in terms of gender. As of 2022, there were 720 million men and 690 million women in the country. Because transgender issues are sensitive in the region, the nation lacks reliable statistics on the population. There are 56 recognized ethnic groups in China, many ethnic groupings (Bello, 2021). With 92% of the population, the Han community is the majority. The remaining 8% of the population comprises 55 minority groups, including Zhuang and Tibetans. Each ethnic group has its unique culture, including language and religion. Language, religion, literature, architecture, food, music, martial arts, customs, and celebrations are all important aspects of Chinese culture. Mandarin, the national language of China, is distinguished by its tones and sounds. The Wu, Xiang, Yue, Min, Hakka, and Gan dialects are among the others. China has a variety of culinary traditions, including Cantonese and Szechuan. Chinese sculptures and paintings are associated with China's mystical heritage and Buddhism. Technology, industrialization, and globalization contribute to a surge in diversity that opens up new markets. Challenges of Diversity Urbanization and globalization have been major contributors to China's diversity. But from ancient times to now, opposition to diversity has been a serious problem. The nation still rejects many aspects of diversity, including sexual orientation, gender equality, and religion. For instance, women encounter political, educational, health, and economic difficulties (Argys & Averett, 2021). Sexual harassment, discrimination in hiring, the pay and income difference between genders, and the elimination of state-funded childcare are typical issues. Over time, the difficulties have led to a notable decline in women's employment participation, bringing it below global norms. Even though China's constitution guarantees citizens the right to practice their faith freely, religious freedom is rapidly diminishing. Government surveillance and intense scrutiny are extended to faiths that comply with relevant laws. The nation is home to some of the harshest religious customs. For instance, according to King and Lawley (2022), more than a thousand Christians were imprisoned in 2018 because of their religious beliefs. The government has improved its techniques for brainwashing, facial recognition software, and mass imprisonment for intimidating and persecuting religious believers. The government barred several state-recognized churches from conducting worship sessions and commemorating Easter in 2019. The LGBT community has always faced discrimination in China, both historically and currently. Transgender presentations are classified as mental disorders by the nation's health sector. In social situations and the workplace, discrimination against LGBT people is pervasive. Members of the LGBT community are prohibited from receiving medical care, including physical and mental health services. Discrimination and gender stereotypes cast a shadow over China's labor force, impeding the achievement of a working atmosphere that is fair and inclusive....
