-To examine skin aging appearances by specialized dermatologists.
Impact/ importance- promote healthy dietary behaviors to decrease skin aging, promote healthier skin appearance, and promote overall healt
Background-
-obtain information on what makes up the skin
-obtain information about previous studies
-look at their study design and results
Research questions
What is the link between nutrition and skin aging?
What types of foods prevent skin aging? What types of foods increase skin aging?
To determine how does diet affect skin aging; what is the association between dietary intake and skin-aging appearances?
Hypothesis statement
A healthy diet with consumption of whole foods such as fruits and vegetables can prevent skin aging and maintain youthful skin. Conversely, a diet high in processed foods, refined sugars and unhealthy fats may accelerate skin aging. Inadequate nutritional intake may lead to further signs of aging in the skin.
Materials and methods
-Participants: females (40 - 75 yr); from local philadelphia region
-we measure their nutrient intake through dietary recall assessments
-examine skin aging appearances by specialized dermatologists in philadelphia
-we want to focus on what is associated with wrinkled appearance, dryness, and skin atrophy.
-factors to consider: age, sex, physical activity, worklife, income, education, smokers/nonsmokers, alcohol consumption

Introduction
Most people are conscious about their skin because it affects how others perceive them. Since aging affects the individual's skin health, it prompts them to look for measures to manage it. One of the measures they are applying is the right diet. It is, therefore, critical to understand whether there is a correlation between diet and skin health.
Purpose of Research
Aims of Study
The study looks forward to analyzing the nutrient intake among women aged between 40 and 75 years residing in Philadelphia through carrying out a 24hr dietary recall assessments.
The research also examines the different skin aging appearances through specialized dermatologists.
Impact/ Importance
The importance of the research is to employ measures that will promote dietary behaviors by reducing skin aging and boosting the individual's health.
Background
The following research will get information about what the skin comprises. This process will be conducted by getting information from previous studies. The research will also check the design and results of the study.
Research Questions
It is important to have some research questions when researching.
One of the questions is the link between nutrition and skin aging. What is the link between nutrition and skin aging?
The next question looks forward to understanding the types of food individuals can use to prevent skin aging and the foods that increase the risk of skin aging. What types of foods prevent skin aging? What types of foods increase skin aging?
The other question is checking how diet affects skin aging; the link between dietary intake and the varying skin-aging appearances. To determine how does diet affect skin aging; what is the association between dietary intake and skin-aging appearances?
Hypothesis Statement
This research has two hypothesis statements. The first statement highlights that a healthy diet composed of whole foods such as vegetables and fruits will likely prevent the person's skin from aging while maintaining youthful skin (Davidson, 2021). The other one highlights that a diet of processed foods, unhealthy fats, and refined sugars will likely increase skin aging (Praderio, 2017). Moreover, inadequate nutritional intake is likely to cause additional aging signs in the skin.
Materials and Methods
The participants for this research are females aged 40-75 years residing in Philadelphia. The process will measure the individuals' nutrient intake by performing dietary recall assessments. We will also examine the different skin aging appearances as they are specialized dermatologists in Philadelphia. Furthermore, we will identify the things associated with skin dryness, wrinkled appearance, and skin atrophy. The factors that we will consider when doing the research are sex, age, physical activity, income, education, work life, alcohol consumption, and smokers or nonsmokers.
