Music and Concerts

Essay Instructions:

The New York Philharmonic will give three baroque "music on water" concerts to take you through the aristocratic atmosphere of the gorgeous 17th century court.

The grand concerto is known as one of the finest concertos of the baroque period.

Music on water has a fresh and lively tune.

Because performing in the open air at that time required the whole orchestra to have a relatively high volume, Handel deliberately increased the number of brass instruments to make this music quite different from the baroque music you used to hear.

The second half is an excerpt from the opera "dardanus" created by the great French baroque composer lamo, which commemorates this art form born in the 17th century baroque period by means of symphonic performance of opera excerpts.

It is worth mentioning that the conductress of the three "music on water" concerts are Emmanuelle Haim, a French conductor who is proficient in organ and harp, has managed the Berlin philharmonic orchestra and once played the Vienna philharmonic at the luisen music festival.

Manuel is best at early music and baroque music, and he has an extraordinary and unworldly temperament. This time, he conducted the New York Philharmonic to play Handel's light and cheerful music on the water, which is "appropriate" and "widely expected".

On November 28, 2018, I got a chance to enjoy the New York Philharmonic, which is a globally known orchestra. The show started at 8:00 p.m. and the location was the David Geffen Hall. While in the auditorium, I could see that up to 200 people were there to enjoy the concert. The overall environment was peaceful and relaxing, and this Performing Arts complex is situated on Manhattan's Upper West Side. It was opened to the public in 1962.
The most beautiful composition was water music, which is originally played by Handel. The artist had held his musical instrument confidently, and his performance created an aristocratic environment of the Baroque court. The Water Music is a huge collection of orchestral movements, which has been published as three different suites and is a composition of George Frideric Handel. It was first premiered in July 1717 as a response to King George I's request for a concert on the River Thames. Until now, I have seen many people performing the water music, but the way this artist performed on the stage was quite impressive, unique and engaging. It made me realize that the water music is not only suitable for...
