Summary
The paper aims for the US government to implement universal healthcare to improve the quality of life, lessen the spread of germs and reduce social inequality. Therefore, UHC would help many Americans who cannot afford health insurance. Moreover, states that practice UHC have higher life expectancies than those that do not. UHC would enable earlier intervention and reduction in the risks of illnesses caused by germs. Additionally, the system would create a bridge between the rich and the poor. Lastly, it would impact people’s lifestyles, enabling them to access healthcare, thus reducing the chance of many people dying in case of pandemics like Covid19.
