Research a recent instance where religion has played a significant role in shaping an issue, politics, culture, or another area of your choosing. There are countless examples. Some include:
Culture: The impact of Sharia law on how people dress or events that they can attend.
Economics: Trade restrictions on countries that repress members of religions such as those levied on China in 2021 due to human rights violations committed against Uyghurs.
Politics: Some states like the Islamic Public of Iran are run by theocracies that pervade almost all parts of society.
As you can see, many of the lines between them are blurred - one bleeding into another.

Religion tends to play roles in different aspects of life, and Myanmar, Buddhism has affected politics, especially on the Rohingya issue. Various aspects of Buddhism, especially its political barriers to change that filtered into politics and society, and the dictating role of Buddhism in governmental policies have informed Myanmar's handling of the Rohingya Muslim minority in critical ways. Indeed, one of the significant impacts of Buddhism in Myanmar is Taj Cunningham's concept of formation of nationalism that excludes Rohingya. It remains a large part of the nation's culture and actively encourages Buddhist nationalism. The Rohingya were once accepted as Burmese citizens, yet the outlook changed in the 1980s and early 1990s, and in 1982, the amendment of the citizenship laws made the Rohingya a stateless community.
