Local Region Network (LAN) is a system across a limited topographical zone, such as a house, office, or a cluster of buildings. Phone lines and cable lines are examples of public infrastructure that may be used to communicate. Networks may be alienated into (LANs) and (WANs), covering a more significant geographic region. Many businesses and organizations employ WANs, such as the Internet, because they allow them to link tens of billions of devices to each other (Mumford, 2021).
