A Cost-Effectiveness and Return-on-Investment Analysis of a Worksite Vitality Intervention Among Older Hospital Workers
There are 10 questions on that checklist, so if you rank each item out of 10, the maximum score would be 100. In past systematic reviews, we considered scores less than 50 as low quality, studies between 50-70 as medium quality and 70+ as high quality. You do not need to use these cut points, but give the study a high-, medium- or low-quality ranking. While reviewing the study, identify what you think are the study’s strongest and weakest features. You might think of features of the study as the 10 issues identified in the first reading (Tompa et al., 2008).
In this discussion, offer your critique of the study:
What ranking did you give the study and why?
Explain what you found to be the strongest and weakest features and why.
Do you think this intervention has merit for consideration in the Canadian context? Why or why not?
Do you think it could be adapted for other sectors? Why or why not?
