M8.1 Discussion: Stalking Across the World

The United States Department of Justice defines the term "stalking" as "engaging in a course of conduct directed at a specific person that would cause a reasonable person to fear for his or her safety or the safety of others or suffer substantial emotional distress." Yet, stalking laws exist in nearly every country. Using this list of various international laws on stalking, choose one country to compare to American Antistalking laws. How are they similar? How do they differ?
