When framing the programs and choosing the department's structure, it is essential to consider the issue of gendered prison dynamics (Groff, 2024). The program will be designed to address the needs of male and female inmates. As a part of the holistic education and job training model, the offenders will obtain knowledge and understanding in preparation for reintegration into the community. Offering a diversity of courses and vocational programs in the curriculum design for the education and livelihoods department would be crucial. It will aid in addressing the different needs and preferences of the jail community.
