Introduction to the Organization is part of many proposals. This will allow an applicant to tell the funder about the people who make up their organization and how the organization is qualified to manage and carry out the objectives of the proposal. The introduction includes:
• Most proposals ask you to describe your organization currently – past successes and projected future.
• Give mission and philosophy
• Record of other grants received
• Success stories of the difference you have made in the community
• Focus your comments to address the goals of the funding agency
• You want the funder to be impressed with your organization’s credibility
