Question 1 The Posner task is a cognitive psychology experiment applied to study covert attention. Covert attention refers to an individual’s ability to focus on specific information without moving their eyes. The experiment was set up on a computer with an internet connection. The interface of the experiment features a fixation or central point and two points on either side of the fixation point. These points are where the cue and target stimulus appear.
