Values
“Live consistently according to your moral values. People will respect you for it.”
- Coach Gibbs
Instructions: This assignment is 9 pages in length including the title page. Please remember to complete all 9 pages of this assignment.
Establishing clear values is important when deciding how to live and lead effectively. Using your responses from Assignment 1, identify your top three (3) values and explain why they are important to you.
1 List your top three (3) values:
Value 1: Self-discipline
Value 2: Trust
Value 3: Accountability

2 Using 50-100 words, explain why each value is important to you.
Among the most valuable and important talents that everybody should have is self-discipline. It is a necessary and beneficial talent in all aspects of life. Despite the fact that most people recognize its significance, few take steps to strengthen it. A disciplined individual is timelier than others. One such individual is more inclined to take charge of his or her life and take accountability for it. He or she is capable of setting objectives and taking tangible efforts to achieve them.

The trust factor strengthens bonds by allowing individuals to work and live collaboratively, feel protected, and feel a sense of belonging. Organizations around the world thrive when people trust their leaders, whereas a lack of trust can lead to disintegration, disagreement, and even warfare. That is why, in various ways, individuals must trust their family members, leaders, friends, and colleagues. Whenever a person learns to distrust somebody, it is usually because he has realized that what he exchanges with them, or what is vital to him, is not safe with them.

When it concerns to becoming a part of a company, the most sought trait is accountability. Accountability is a fundamental trait of a committed worker, and it is expected from one's supervisor, coworkers, and all stakeholders. Accountability in life entails more than just owning up to the mistakes. While this is a widespread impression of accountability, it falls short of accurately describing its genuine meaning. In general, it means fully accepting responsibility for the events that take place in one’s life and realizing that an individual is in charge of personal relationships, responses, decisions, activities, communication, and mindset.

1. Creation

People and employees in the arts have a strong desire to create new things. A person could like coming up with new ideas for a new item and then going through the development phase to see his thoughts come to life. As a creator, one may want to share the work with others. Fashion designers, Novelists, and musicians are examples of specialists who are passionate about creating.

Musician or Novelist

1 Business and Entrepreneurship

They are rather distinct, despite the fact that they both produce jobs, generate answers to customers through a service or product, and add to the economy. Businessmen and women can make a profit by turning a pre-existing item into a firm, and they typically do so while undertaking measured and controlled risks. They measure success as the company's success. An entrepreneur is typically the creator of a new concept or service; they are enthusiastic about what they do, prepared to take risks, and measure success as "just trying."

Entrepreneur or Business person

3. Journaling

Whenever it comes to reaching objectives, writing is a strong tool since it emphasizes what one is working toward and offers the person a clear vision and daily motivation. Journaling allows one to determine how the person want to feel for the day and elevates the mission and aims to a deeper state of awareness, which can help the person achieve more achievement. One considers the difference between keeping in with their mission and aspirations every day versus once in every 3 months or even never.

Publication or Management

4. Training and Teaching

It will be beneficial to people in charge of development processes to make the concept very explicit within development initiatives and for those who engage in them. Establishing the difference clarifies and emphasizes the objectives of each. Teaching is more conceptual and philosophical, whereas training is much more hands-on and experiential (when done effectively). Training aims to enhance capabilities while teaching aims to transmit knowledge and deliver information. Both training and teaching are critical components of long-term employee development, and they can be employed separately or in tandem to boost employee productivity.

Teacher or Mentor

5. Leadership

Leadership, like administration and developing talent, is part of the things that individuals have an innate ability to recognize yet struggle to define properly. Part of this is due to the fact that good leaders do not all lead in the same manner and have the same level of expertise. Some managers put a lot of pressure on their staff, while others prioritize work-life compatibility and employee enjoyment. Some people are very interactive, while others outsource a lot. Anybody from business students graduating to senior executives may be good leaders, whether they are engineers or salespeople. Leadership is not defined by a single word in the title, a particular salary range, or any one personality quality like confidence or assertiveness. There are many excellent descriptions of leadership, particularly from people who possess it.
