Search warrants are critical for law enforcers when they are conducting criminal investigations. The main reason is that it helps them adhere to the Fourth Amendment, which protects citizens from unreasonable searches and seizures. Different factors make the warrant valid. For instance, it should have probable cause showing that the crime has happened, there is evidence, and evidence could be at the place being searched (LawShelf, 2020a).
