Living in Ancient Sumeria
If I was to choose which society to live in, I would choose to live in ancient Sumer. The three main reason for which I would choose to live in this time is their spirituality, liberty, and reverence for art. In ancient Sumeria, the society was centered around harmony with each other and with nature. The people lived for a purpose, which was generally spiritual in nature. Almost all people put faith and put efforts towards the happiness and satisfaction of their gods. The political setting and societal rules in this time also catered to the needs and the wants of people. Women had liberty and had equal treatment among men. Above all, people loved and revered art in every form.
The life of ancient Sumerians revolved around their faith towards their many Gods. If I was in this time and society, I would feel great especially that my peers and myself are living life with a purpose.
