System thinking focuses on the interrelated and dynamic constituents of the system that work together. Leaders can promote system thinking by promoting collaboration so that different parts of the system work more harmoniously and share resources. System thinking is beneficial since there is a thorough analysis of the organization from a multidisciplinary point of view, which makes it possible to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses in all aspects of the organization (Looman et al., 2020). In any case, the Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC) highlights team and teamwork as one of the main competencies. Practitioners from different departments and relationships between the departments and stakeholders are considered (Ansa et al., 2020). Interconnection of the internal and external stakeholders in hospitals helps to meet the institution's set objectives.
