Being a dentist hygienist means that you are involved in maintaining the health care of the mouth for your patients. It is a noble profession as it means that the patients that pass through you have a healthy smile everywhere they go and are free to express themselves with open mouths, and that is a sign of what true happiness means. There are associations that have been made up specifically to cater to the needs of dentist hygienists. These are the American Dental Hygienists Associations (ADHA) and the California Dental Hygienist Association (CDHA).
