Goal 1: In the next annual IEP meeting, Jane should register improvement in her reading and comprehension skills to match expectations as per her grade level requirements, which sits at around 50 words per minute. Accommodations Summary:
Jane has made tremendous improvements in meeting her IEP goals. The accommodations were introduced to facilitate the realization of the aforementioned goals. This includes giving her extra time to process texts, which is important for her goals. The special education teacher is at the center of the instructions. Also, realizing the IEP goals do not require multiple accommodations to indicate notable success. At the moment, her accuracy in word comprehension, reading, and writing skills exceed the 80% expectations or set goals.
Communication Plan for General Education Teachers and Related Services Staff:
The learner needs support from every participant in the IEP plan. One way of achieving success includes a communication plan.
