Discuss how you might use data collected from this domain to strengthen your practice in the future The provider staffing is a domain comprising of staff competent, intent to leave, job stress, employee satisfaction, and staffing ratios. I do not collect data in this domain for after recruiting nurses, I pay their dues at the end of the month and think this is enough to keep them in job. However, I have had high employee turnover in the past although I have just been replacing the nurses who leave their jobs with others. Staff competency is not the only factor to consider in employee recruitment and maintenance process. Through employee motivation, employees feel encouraged to work for the betterment of the organization. Motivated employees realize high performance results. Employee motivation leads to employee satisfaction and can be done through a number of ways. Correct staffing ratios ensure that employees have manageable workloads and thus are satisfied in the nursing organization.
