Database Entities
Assuming we have 200 laptops with the same look, size, color, and company, it is not easy to differentiate them just by looking. However, when we have the product number of each, then we can differentiate between them. These laptops or objects become entities in a database only when they can be uniquely identified. Thus, an entity is a real-world thing that can be uniquely identified. In this case, there are two types of entities: tangible and intangible entities.
