Master System Database
A master database is the primary configuration database in the SQL server (Mukherjee, 2019). It holds information on all databases on the server and the SQL Server’s login and configuration settings. Therefore, the purpose of a master database is to store remote logins, server registrations, databases, database files, server configuration settings, processes and locks, and login accounts. Given its purpose and importance, a master database requires backup. In this aspect, complete database backup is used to back up the master database.
Full database backup is ideal because it backs up the whole database, including transaction logs (Nakamura, Zhao, & Nakagawa, 2017)...
