Question 1.
The time series matrix, which constructed models using previous data and macroeconomic conditions and produced accurate forecasts was used. Propensity matrix, which attempted to understand the causes or drivers of outcome better was also employed by the company. The measurement of ID’s success and failure used the business sufficiency models. The models captured the most recent data and employed a wide range of simulations that enables the leaders to see the viability of the business. The leaders used the matrix and highlighted area that seemed unlikely to meet objectives. The business sufficiency model helped the management commit to the performance goal and the critical questions of whether the business had the sufficiency to deliver the goal. The matrix was efficient because it covered over 90% of the company's information to run itself. I would use novel matric known as intrusion detection effectiveness in determining the success or failure of IDS. This is because the matric manipulates the drawbacks of existing ones and considers all essential and related parameters.
