Case Study

Each student will choose one criminal case in which forensic science played a role in the outcome of the investigation and case conclusion. The case will be researched throughout the semester by the student and culminate in a "published" webpage (google site*). The student will be expected to show references, background case information, victim and/or suspect information, forensic science techniques used, and ultimate outcome of the case. It is expected that the students relate the forensic science aspects of the case to the course material studied throughout this course and draw similarities to the topics discussed with the techniques used in the respective case. The student may use the citation format of their choice as long as it is consistent throughout the site. Use of AI is prohibited on this assignment. See syllabus for AI statement. *Must use Google sites. Please publish the site, but ensure I can view it as an editor as well. If this criteria is not met, site will not be graded.
