Because I am drawn to sites and users who share my interests and hobbies as a regular user of social media, I concur that practical values draw individuals both online and offline. Even though I made that comment, I believe it applies to everyone since people desire to "belong" to a group with others who share their interests. If a photo or video is instructive or unexpected, people are more likely to share it. Because of this, adding a practical value or educational component to your social media posts will encourage individuals to share them with their friends.
