Looking for Alaska by John Green
Looking for Alaska which was written by John Green and published by Penguin Publishers in 2005 cannot be termed as a typical boy meets girl love story as it reflects on the manner that love is not as translucent as it appears.
The story revolves around Miles Halter as the protagonist, and the book starts off with Miles leaving Florida or for academic reasons and attends a school in Texas. His roommates eventually introduce him to the charismatic, temperamental and passionate Alaska young. As the plot develops, the author attempts and succeeds in focusing mostly on Miles Young, who was referred to as Pudge in most parts of the book and his interactions and relationships’ with his friends and Alaska.
