• You are required to provide a detailed discussion and critical reflection of who you are. This should include but is not limited to: your core beliefs and values, your strengths, weaknesses, skills, character, ethical and moral position, your culture, background, social development as a person, your personality, communication and conflict resolution styles. Make connection to leadership perspectives as delivered through the lectures and tutorials

• Evaluate and be critical of how the detailed discussion of who you are influences you as a leader and your choice of leadership style. You should clearly justify your approach to leadership, i.e. what type of leader do you think you are and why? How? You must clearly connect your choice of leadership style/s to academic research

As an individual I have great belief in respecting people and I always get myself in entirely agreeable position when settling on the choice collaboratively with other individuals. Morally I am bound to social standards and all my deeds are principally based for results which are good for society. It I am responsible, when working as a group I ensure that I am responsible for all my duties and deliver appropriately to the group. Culturally, I belief cultural diversity which is achieved in a diverse cultural environment. On the other hand in my communication style I am concerned I with being transparent ensure there are no any secrets (Kumaran, 2012). In the event where any conflict emerges in the group I would want to take the assessment of my group and afterward in like manner reach on the resolution as what is there which is directly for the gathering and what is there which isn't directly for the gathering. I leave it on gathering's cooperative basic leadership to explain any conflict which concocts in the gathering.
The above character attributes and the manner in which I have considered my values, culture, basic leadership, conflict resolution and my activities shaped me to the leader that I am. My personal leadership profile is designed in helping me to get the components of leadership and also to range my effectiveness (Kouzes & Posner, 2012). As a leader I can use my personal profile in describing my traits, the required behaviors of a leader and the effects of the characteristics and the behaviors have on my duties and responsibilities as a leader. Using a personal leadership style one is able to analyze their capabilities. The acquired results can be applied in setting a direction on the course that a person wishes they can pursue.
My leadership interest is mainly focused on diversity rather than adaptability. I understand that attempting to adapt group members to a present condition can assist in streamlining the process of achieving the task at hand, I have also identified that I am more into bringing out the uniqueness of an individual instead (Tait, 2017). Through nurturing of the unique qualities of the members and also appreciating their differences in achieving objectives, the members are able to feel at ease with the setup of the organization.
Creativity and innovation have also been among my key areas of interest as a leader. I have been able to realize that creativity helps in forming a formidable part of the organization. The significance of creativity can be overlooked but it is important to note that it has a great effect on the long run progression of an organization. Innovation and creativity is considered as the main basic through which organizations and group’s progress beyond the achievements of their objectives into growth and self-actualization.
Other leadership interest that I have is team building and influencing others. I am able to understand that the groups and team dynamics play a crucial role in the firm and also partake to shaping them in a positive manner. Influencing others entail pointing out a course of direction and giving the members the autonomy with which they can be able to chart their ways into the desired objectives and goals.
One way of assessing leadership is by monitoring of the skills and the ability that a leader has. There are various scales developed that are used to measure the leadership on the basis of these constraints. From my leadership profile I think that my leadership prowess is mostly based on my ability of influencing the actions of other individuals without making a promise of the reward (Wang, 2016). This has helped me to be able to influence the action of others mainly through the ability of convincing them without having to make them feel as if they are exploited. When people shift their attention from the promise of the reward to the task completion, they can be able to achieve a great level of performance even if the reward promised does not measure up to the expectations.
My leadership capabilities have been found on my ability of nurturing the progressiveness of other individuals and to help them think beyond. I have the ability of leading them on and helping them through the realm of the various issues such that they are able to learn to question their founded belief. The ability comes I hand because organizational performance is in most cases hampered due to the mindsets that are biased (Williams, 2013). When people concentrate more on what should be done rather that what is usually done their dedication towards a group or organization manifests itself and the performance is improved.
I have a level creativity energy that empowers me to keep other individuals spurred even in circumstances where I would not have the motivation myself. With the various years that I have had as an innovator in both formal and informal setups, I have additionally picked up administration insights, which has given me the capacity to comprehend various conflicts at the individual and gathering levels (Bolman & Deal, 2013). My conflict management abilities have been supported by the nearness of conflict in the various setups that I have served. The personal leadership styles used by an individual have a major influence on the group members and how they perform. The leadership styles used can be explored by different organizational frames. The frames dictates how the roles are performed how the responsibilities are delegated and how success can be achieved.in the context of an organization, politics is described as the process through which various decisions are made Firms are usually coalitions to different interest groups and politics are impossible to eliminate. What a leader can do here is acknowledge the presence of politics and manage the political dynamics so as to influence the effectiveness of members.
