Purpose



The purpose of this assignment is to explore the role of the Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) prepared nurse with regard to theory, research, and scholarship in professional practice. Consideration should be given to the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (CCNE) DNP Essentials. Collaboration and cultural competence should also be discussed as they apply to these elements.

The Roles and Responsibilities Practice Paper is worth 150 points and will be graded using the designated rubric. Grading criteria include quality of content, appropriate citations, use of Standard English grammar, and overall organization and readability.

Create your assignment using a Microsoft Word application. The document should be saved in a .doc or .docx format.

The paper should be 3 to 5 pages in length excluding title page and reference pages.

APA format is required.
