Introduction
On the 31st of August 1910, Franklin Roosevelt delivered what according to me was the most significant speech in Kansas. Surrounded by a multitude of 30,000 listeners, Franklin Roosevelt opined on an authentic political creed which fueled his pursuit for a powerful modern state. In his speech, denoted as “The New Nationalism Address” Franklin Roosevelt is considered to have given an orated speech on the American soil. This paper seeks to address a history that interests me in the American history.

The ostensible occasion that resulted in Franklin Roosevelt’s speech was instigated by a two-day dictatorial ceremony that was held at the John Brown Memorial Park. During this period, Roosevelt took the privilege to prod the Americans on the need to take up responsibility as a powerful nation in using their power for the good of the international community, in as much as his conception of the element of good failed to meet a universal approval. Franklin Roosevelt, therefore, persuaded his listeners on the legitimacy of taking federal responsibility in regulating business activities and husbanding America’s natural resources and unquestionable counts as part of his greatest contributions. Following his speech, the American corporate consolidation businesses had to a larger extent impaired the effectiveness of the market in allocating economic opportunities, equitable rewards, and advantages.
