Using My proposal as a guide ,which is attached- prepare one page with my ideas for Fundraising. This will be approved by the prof. After approval I will resubmit for the second part of the Fundraising with is the actual pitch. any suggestion would be welcome Based on the research and identified needs for community development in your recent Community Profile assignment, you will now design a fundraising campaign to help support a specific neighborhood initiative. You may decide to raise money through the creation of an event. Or given the pandemic, design a virtual fundraiser using crowdfunding or an online fundraising campaign. Perhaps there is a not-for-profit organization in your community that you want to partner with to raise money or resources for their existing programs in your community (refer to your asset map). Use only secondary sources (existing research). No primary research will be conducted for this assignment. For example, no interviews or surveys with community members. While this is a hypothetical fundraiser, it needs to be realistic. Do not propose to build infrastructure like hospitals and schools, that is outside of the scope of this assignment. Do consider the course content and themes related to your learning throughout the semester. Use specific terms and integrate concepts into your fundraising pitch. STEP 1: Fundraising Proposal 5% You will submit a 1-page proposal outlining your fundraising idea. Answer the following questions: What is the community development need you want to raise funds for based on your Community Profile assignment? Why is it important based on your research? How much money are you proposing to raise, is the amount realistic? What kind of fundraising activity will it be? Why is this a good or appropriate way to raise funds? Do you anticipate any challenges? If so, how will you overcome these challenges? How will you use this event to develop and build community (integrate course concepts)? Yellow Light (3 - 2.5) – Proceed with caution, refer to the Fundraising assignment rubric as your road map. Red Light (2 - 0) – Stop, best to chat with your professor during office hours to discuss your proposal and get on track.
