This paper discusses CUNY and my educational and job interests in the future. CUNY is in Jamaica, New York City. Its varying learning institutions are across five boroughs in New York City. The higher education institution offers varying academic programs. First, CUNY offers varying undergraduate educational programs that lead to the bachelor’s or associate’s degree (CUNY, “Academic Programs”). They include Education, Humanities & Social Sciences, Technology, Computer & Information Systems, Business, Management & Accounting, and Environmental Studies & Sustainability. The college also offers specialty programs, continuing education courses, online programs, study abroad programs, health and human service programs, and graduate education. CUNY’s application process involves contacting the Undergraduate Admission personnel for undergraduate programs. The applicant must submit an application form after completing essential information/required fields. These include the student’s name, email address, date of birth, nationality, semester, college, and program of interest (CUNY, “Apply to CUNY”). The applicant should then acknowledge the information’s accuracy by ticking off a box before applying. CUNY has a moderately selective approach. As a result, it is moderately competitive to get admission since there is a 60.7% acceptance/admission rate (PrepScholar). Applicants must meet specific prerequisites to attend CUNY. They include a 3.11 GPA, an average SAT score of at least 970, an average ACT score of 18, and an optional ACT writing or SAT essay section. Applicants must also fulfill coursework requirements for subjects like English, Science, Foreign Language, and Math. Therefore, students with higher academic performance get CUNY admission.
