Solar Energy: Benefits of Owning Personal Solar Systems
Main focus should be solar city
Hi this is a group project and i will post what they have already done.
This is my part
Alright, how I would see that section formatted is An explanation of the costs of owning our solar panels
listing average maintenance costs and installation costs
An explanation of the benefits of owning our own solar panels
How much free energy we expect.
That should be your introduction. Afterward, you go into the specifics for a bit.
Different kinds of solar panels you looked at
what solar panels you eventually chose, and explain why?
where you would lay them (we explained three locations), and how much energy we would expect to receive for them. (Figure this out by counting the solar panels and multiplying that number with how much energy we can expect. Go to PVWatts.com to get numbers)

Solar Energy
To have solar energy, panel converters of light to electricity should be the first purchase. Upon deciding to have the panels, factors to consider include the desired power connections, and the amount of capital one wishes to invest in the installation. The costs of installing a panel, the maintenance, benefits, energy obtained and the types of panels are the explanations this paper presents.
Solar panels come in different sizes and differences in energy conversion rates. The kind of material making the panels dictate the amount of energy it can convert per unit time. Most common materials are monocrystalline, polycrystalline, silicon and BPIV. The two most efficient are monocrystalline and BIPV (Wiltshire & Conto, 2012). The efficient power panels will cost more to buy. Averagely their prices range from $15000 to $30000 to buy and install. After installing the panels, the maintenance costs will not be so high.
The lifetime activity and maintenance expenses of the solar panels will be dependent on the quality of material used like the connections and technologist involved in the connection. Falling systems may require a regular maintenance based on the number of times they fall. The costs diminish with time (Mordie, Brown & Stoughton, 2012). When its installation is proper, the system requires no costs to maintain. It can take as long as the lifetime of the solar system. The entire system will cost the stated 15000 or more until its full lifetime.
Benefits of owning personal solar systems for power are numerous. The costs of operations are free because of the free solar energy. The only requirement is exposure to solar energy before the system begins to work. The absorption of solar energy and conversion to desired power is dependent on the panels used and the energy requirements. When compared to fuel-generated electrical energy, the costs of solar energy are cheaper. The installation, once done, is not paid for. The only costs should be maintenance (Mordie, Brown & Stoughton, 2012). Electricity bills are expensive, and most people may find it more costly to manage. The costs of electricity also depend on the costs of productions. Most hydrogenated electricity depends on petroleum in production with unstable petroleum prices around the world and can make the electricity costs higher when they are raised (Wiltshire & Conto, 2012). Also important is the sources of water for the generation of power. Water levels in rivers and dams that rotate turbine blades could be ranging depending on climatic patterns. Such changes are not within the control of man and will influence by great measure the amount of electricity generated. Sometimes there are power rationing in countries because of such problems.
When using the regular electricity connections from a government or another organization's power grid, the problems of power shortages are high and causes inconveniences. Electric connections can go off or can be interrupted during maintenance. At such times, one might have to look for alternatives to power which will be more expensive. Using solar energy has little interruptions because of the available sunlight. It is also a disadvantage to have such power generations in dessert countries and areas that are not in any water connection (Kegl, 2013).
Finally, the use of solar panels is safe for the environment. Solar energy is green source compared to fuel generated energy. It absorbs the ultraviolet light rays which are used for power generation. When using these panels, there are...
