I wholly agree with the research findings that show that focusing on time rather than on money make people happier. Understanding the finiteness of our lives prompts us to act in ways that make us happy and which reflect positively on us. For instance, focusing on time rather than money pushes us to find meaningful ways of bringing happiness not only to ourselves but to others. A simple shift in perspective about time has been shown to encourage people to be happier with where they are and even engage in prosocial activities that heighten this positive effect.
