Abstract
This paper tries to establish the challenges that persons suffering from psychopathy face on their daily life. This is topic that is rarely researched, relative to the focus on the impacts that psychopaths have on their victims (Quan, 2011). When one mentions the term Psychopath is mentioned, it commands dread among the minds of many. This is relative to the fact that, it is a term that is associated with dysfunctional persons that cause unspeakable horror upon their victims (Dutton, 2013). It is for this reason that most people will have thought of ruthless killers, who do not show remorse or guilt other than enjoyment, when the term psychopath is mentioned. Persons that are medically diagnosed with psychopathy tend to be characteristically aggressive, violent, lacking guilt, remorse and empathy. For most people, psychopaths do not seem to suffer from any form emotional turmoil, much like persons that do not have mental developmental disorders (Ohikuare, 2014). In some cases where psychopaths have been cited in court rooms, they have been seen to show no emotions when sentenced to death or life imprisonment (Dutton, 2013). In some cases, psychopaths have been seen to grin at the jury or even insult the judges. Psychopaths have also been known to feign suffering to be in a position to take advantage of their victims before attacking (Dutton, 2013). However, psychopaths tend to suffer from deep sense of deep sadness associated with their low ability to develop social connections and general dysfunctional lives. Psychopaths have also been found to suffer from inferiority complex, despite the fact that the outward personality is a display of orchestrated superiority. For the persons diagnosed with psychopathy, they have a great challenge connecting with people, partly because of their mental state and partly due to the attitudes that people around psychopaths portray towards them. One of the most exhausting element of being a psychopath, is that that they lack a sense of self control (Martens, 2015). This means that they constantly engage in activities that endanger their lives and of those around them, without the element of control. What is more is the fact that they do not seem to learn from their mistakes, relative to repetitive mistakes, associated with lack of control. They also tend to battle very intense emotional battles, reeling from their dysfunctional lives (Martens, 2015). Much of their lives is associated with failed relationships, jobs, family ties and marriages among other connections. As such, they live is basically an eternal dysfunctional set of life activities.
Introduction
The term psychopath, when used to refer to someone, comes with its fair share of dread, relative to the fact that it is a name that is closely associated with dysfunctional persons. For most people when the word comes to mind they imagine of a person that is eager to kill without remorse of self-guilt (Martens, 2015). The meaning in this couldn't be further from the truth. When one is medically identified as a psychopath, this means that they have been diagnosed with a developmental disorder which is largely associated with low empathy, remorse, guilt, aggressive and antisocial behaviors. In this review the main challenges of a psychopath are evaluated (LEUNG, 2013). Most of the studies have dwelled on the way that psychopaths affect other persons. This paper therefore develops on the main challenges that persons that have been diagnosed with the condition face on their daily life.
Psychopaths Do Not Suffer
For most people when they mention the word psychopath, they think of a person that is totally dysfunctional. This means that most of the people have some sense of resentments towards persons who have been labeled as psychopaths. These are feelings that could not be largely misplaced, relative to the fact that, this is a disorder that is associated with unimaginable horrors. As such, most of the people tend to think that these are people that are devoid of any human emotions even in the slightest qualities and measures (Dutton, 2013). When a psychopath is sentenced to death or life in prison, they never tend to breakdown pleading for their sentence to be reduced and for them to find mercy upon their life. In most cases, they just stand there and wait for the judge to issue out their verdict and they walk away as if nothing just happened. Some are even seen to grin at the jury in manner associated with showing no signs of remorse. Some have even been to haul insults at the judges disrupting the court proceedings without any sense of care or concern. For the normal convicts, it is normal to see them show signs of remorse and regret as the verdict is handed to them, with some showing signs of genuine breakdown (Martens, 2015). In other cases, persons that have been medically diagnosed as psychopaths, have been found to enjoy ungodly acts such as sleeping with the dead, inflicting pain, manipulating people and causing unimaginable pain through havoc. Most of these actions are carried out in a sense that indicates that the perpetrators intentionally wanted to inflict harm and they did not have any sense of remorse. This is also not largely distorted from the truth (Dutton, 2013).
Past experiences indicate that psychopaths have the ability to feign false emotions to elicit empathy. This is a neat trick that is sometimes employed to make sure that their victims do not suspect of their intent (Martens, 2015). Most of the horrific elements that have been subjected to victims, have been after signs of connection, trying to manipulate them into going along with the psychopaths. As such, they are constantly trying to manipulate people as they deceive them to get what they want. These are persons that will be making jokes and intelligent conversations and the next minute they are stabbing their victims in a heartless ordeal (Dutton, 2013). Relative to the unruly habits adopted by psychopaths, it is hard for most people to understand or even believe that these persons actually have some sense of suffering, even those it may not follow the normal patterns (LEUNG, 2013).

Like every other human being, persons that have been diagnosed with the condition also have the intrinsic need to feel loved and care for. In most cases this desire is not fulfilled relative to the fact that, these people do not have the means to connect with other people on a deeper level. It hard to live a life where connecting with other people is a constant nightmare, and the only way that one can create and develop relationships is manipulating other people (Martens, 2015). Ideally, they also know from time to time that their condition affects how other people relate with them and the shallow nature of their relationships. As such when they seek to identify with someone emotionally, they get the sense of deep sadness knowing fully well that this person may never want to be deeply connected to them relative their connection. One of the basic element of the live of a person diagnosed as a psychopathy, is that they do not have a stable social network, where they can boast of strong bonds (Brown, 2015). Their lives are constantly characterized by chaotic scenes. Their families were chaotic, they did not have the right parental attention, antisocial behavior, parental substance abuse, divorce and general poor relationships. As such their lives are full of hurtful emotions that trigger deep sense of sadness all round with no glimpse of hope in sight.
