This assignment, worth 250 points, helps you to use the evidence you have gathered in the previous assignment to produce a set of practice implications for the practice, treatment, policy or program you have been investigating. You should use the four studies that you identified in worksheet 4, as well as additional studies you found in your search in this assignment.
You will produce two “products” for this assignment including 1) a written overview of the practice implications and 2) a visual display of these practice implications to be shared with your peer consultation groups on the last day of class.
Written Overview : should be in word document.
Background Information
This section should provide a brief overview (in approximately one page) of the problem or asset addressed by the practice in question. This description should discuss the prevalence and causes of the problem or the utility and importance of the asset developed. In other words, make the case for why this issue is important. Research studies should be cited in this section in support of your statements.
Practice Implications
This section outlines key implications for your practice topic based on the evidence you have identified. Write 3-4 implications for practice drawing on your systematic search. For each implication use language that reflects the strength of the supporting research evidence. Below the stated implication, describe the research evidence that supports the practice as well as its application to diverse populations. This section should be approximately 2 pages.
