The Master of Science: Policy Economics (MSPE) at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign enables students to recognize the effect of governmental actions on various economic fields. I have learned that the primary goal of the MSPE program is to help learners apply economic theories in the evaluation, formulation, and analysis of public policies. Some of the concepts covered in this program are economic statistics, microeconomic theory, applied econometrics, and macroeconomic theory.
When applying for the MSPE program, I have to prepare the right materials and submit them before the established deadline. The most significant thing I have learned is that I should read the instructions keenly so that I can complete the application process successfully. For instance, I am required to submit original degree certificates and transcripts. These credentials should be certified by the issuer of the educational institution (University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, 2022).
