How to educate kids with autism
Research Paper Instructions:
This is a qualitative research paper.
My research question is: Which environments and supports are most appropriate in terms of achieving the best education outcomes in autistic children (ages 5-18)?
My hypothesis is: Autistic children tend to perform better when they are in quieter and less distracting environments versus louder environments.
Some research questions that I formulated:
What type of classroom setting has the participant been in? Traditional or resource setting? How much time do they spend in each classroom?
Does the child has any auditory hypersensitivity?
Does the child tend to perform better in louder or quieter environments?
How does the child react when they are placed into an environment that they have adverse feelings about?
What learning style does the child have? Visual? Auditory? Kinesthetic? Tactile?
Does the child require special accommodations when it comes to the learning environment.
Does the child like to be isolated when they are around other individuals?
Here are the directions for the assignment:

Introduction
Autism is a rising psychological challenge among children worldwide. Statistically, 1 out of 100 children is diagnosed with autistic conditions, leading to complexities in learning behaviors, physiological disabilities, and high dependency on caretakers to perform routine activities. Academic and medical research works observed timely psychological interventions as a significant solution to assist autistic children in developing social skills, community connections, and performance wellness in the long run (Hill et al., 2023). Hence, the purpose of this research is to explore the robust learning environments that caregivers or parents could deliver to strengthen education outcomes and achieve inclusivity and motor performances of autistic children aged between 5 and 18 years.
Purpose of the Study
Research Question
This study developed the following research question to address through robust exploration of the subject:
“Which environments and supports are most appropriate for achieving the best education outcomes in autistic children (ages 5-18)?”
Problem Statement
The study proposes the following hypothesis to direct the research efforts while addressing the question:
“H1: Autistic children tend to perform better in quieter and less distracting environments versus louder environments.”
Reason for Methodology
Qualitative Research (QR) is a robust approach to exploring reasons and solutions related to psychological problems in children, like ‘autism syndrome disorder (ASD).’ QR approach addresses the ‘how’ and ‘why’ parameters to answer the research question. The methodology allows researchers to test and confirm the relevance of the proposed hypothesis before concluding the investigation (Brown et al., 2024). This study will use the QR approach to address the proposed question and test the hypotheses.
The QR approach fits best with the nature of the research subject. Children suffering from ASD condition require qualitative solutions from caregivers to mitigate learning barriers. The QR approach will explore and evaluate various learning methods to classify and determine the most suitable approach the education sector could embrace in facilitating children with ASD conditions in the long run.
Methodology
Research Strategy
This QR investigation will use a descriptive research strategy to explore the core findings of the subject. Theoretically, descriptive research allows researchers to observe, record, and examine the parameters of the topic. Researchers could explore distinct details, facts, and statistical information to support the findings and address the research question. A descriptive research strategy facilitates researchers to decipher, classify, and articulate the core problems, solutions, and improvements for future outcomes. Some descriptive research works have the competency to challenge the phenomenon and provide new insight to the audience while exploring the subject (Di Vara et al., 2024). Hence, descriptive research is a suitable approach for researchers to conduct the QR investigation in identifying, determining, and communicating the best...
