Introduction
In the society today, different people have developed diverse opinions as to how children need to be prepared for learning within a school setting. In consideration of this, some people hold on to the belief that parents need to lead from the front while some perceive that schools need to be the best avenues in preparing children for learning. Well as parents, we need to consider this as an opportunity and responsibility in efficiently preparing out children for learning instead of according this responsibility to schools because this develops a positive learning attitude on kids.All parents need to take measures aimed at ensuring that the children adapt to the learning models that are prevalent today because this would help the children build on what they have learnt from home. Parents also need to take an active role in fully participating in their children’s learning andconnecting with their children to discover what they learn from the society on a daily basis because this encourages the children to engage in the learning process. In consideration of this, this paper seeks to establish some of the vital aspects that are necessary for preparing children for learning in schools.

As parents, we are tasked with the role of preparing out children for learning, an issue that involves taking measures aimed at ensuring that the children adapt to the learning models that are prevalent today. This clearly depicts the need for us parents to develop positive attitudes about education, in a bid to inspire our children and show them the manner in which they can take charge of their educational journeys. Parents, therefore, remain the role model for learning for their children. Over the past years, parents were perceived to be their children’s first teachers in helping the explore nature, cook together, read together, and count together, an aspect that we need to reconsider during this modern times.
