This is a model that helps healthcare personnel to clearly relay information relating to the condition of a patient. It helps to facilitate information exchange between the various stakeholders in a healthcare setup to ensure the best possible medical outcomes for a patient. The initials stand for Situation, Background, Assessment, and Recommendation. The SBAR model is properly applied in the study since there is a situation presented, which is the issue of communication within the facilities. There is the background of the issue, as communication is dissected. There is then the assessment of the problem through various options available.
