We are in the process of refining our manuscript titled *"Examining the Motivations of Men in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to Participate in Early Screening for Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia, a Significant Public Health Concern."* As part of this effort, we would like to request a revision and re-writing of the **Discussion** section (two pages) to enhance its clarity, coherence, and alignment with our study objectives. The revised discussion should: - Clearly interpret our key findings in relation to existing literature. - Highlight the study’s contributions to public health awareness and early screening programs. - Address limitations and suggest potential areas for future research. - Maintain a professional and engaging tone suitable for a peer-reviewed journal. Please find the manuscript attached for reference. Let us know if you need any additional information or clarification. We appreciate your expertise and look forward to your revised version. Best regards,

Discussion This study provides crucial insights into the motivations and barriers affecting early screening for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) among men in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Despite the importance of early detection being well-known, the researchers observed significant gaps in knowledge and awareness. It is necessary to understand these factors, outline their implications for practice, and help to design effective interventions that can improve screening uptake and related health outcomes. Interpretation of Key Findings The study found that the targeted population has low awareness of BPH and its screening. The findings show that 60.1% of the participants had very low or low knowledge of BPH. The findings corroborate studies conducted in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia that found that only 13.4% of men had adequate levels of awareness regarding BPH [12]. This result reflects less (lower) knowledge than the researchers expected initially. As such, there is a need for an awareness program. Although 54.8 % of participants regarded screening as important and necessary to be conducted regularly, only 25.6 % of them have ever been screened. Previous researchers have also observed that this often happens and although the participants know various issues, it is not translated into action. There were similar findings in Nigeria and Italy where knowledge levels were not sufficient for screening behavior [11, 15]. The barriers mentioned above: lack of knowledge (59.3%), fear or anxiety (34.1%), and logistics (33.7%) mirror the findings of a similar study done in Italy [15]. The above findings outline the universal nature of t...
