To establish whether acute care settings would be structured, BRS would improve the nursing satisfaction and patient safety. The Evidence-based intervention role in the enhancement of the care outcome in the case of acute care environment The report aims at the establishment of the safety, accuracy, and the impact of the bedside report. According to the report, the EBI implementation is key in enhancing the overall outcome of care. It also investigates whether communication and accountability through the best beside piece would strengthen the effect of care provided.

The study revealed an improvement in the overall nurse satisfaction with the shift if the report to a bedside reporting system. This also meant that nurses identified a significant improvement in the element of the nursing accountability and the time needed to give the report. The graph, however indicated a slight decline in nursing communication. On the other hand, the study suggested that the nurse realized a change in the nursing communication and the nurse patients' communication and the element of family communication. This was, in other ways, looked as a means of improved patient care outcome due to the reporting accuracy. The goal of the BSR was successful as it worked towards bringing safety due to the practical element of reporting. Also, timekeeping records indicated improvements in the incidental shift within 60 days of the project implementation.
