Nursing professionals must know how to educate patients regarding their treatment and other follow-up procedures. It allows them to provide better holistic care that also considers the patient’s life circumstances. Accordingly, one of the things that nursing professionals should teach their patients is how to provide education on impedance cardiography. Impedance cardiography has been one of the most commonly used diagnostic tools to measure the heart’s stroke volume on a beat-by-beat basis (Stepanov et al., 2018). Accordingly, studies show that ICG-guided treatments compared to standard treatments led to more significant blood pressure reduction in patients (Lu, et al., 2021). This suggests patients should be oriented about their ICG results concerning their diagnosed illnesses.
